Question:
I bought 4 copies of WordPerfect Office 12, Full OEM-CD version for 4 computers. Why would each copy have the exact same serial number?
Solution:
Corel OEM software often has common numbers, this is because Corel produce batches of, in preference to, individual units to keep costs of production to a minimum. This in turn reduces their sale price.
As we purchase software in quantity it is thus quite common that software will be drawn from the same batch.
