Windows Server 2003 difference between R2 and R2a ?
ID: 439 Category: Software Installation Support Status: Resolved Views: 1024

Question:
Can you please tell me what the difference is between Windows Server 2003 R2 and R2a ? Also, on R2, what is "dsp Version" ?

Thanks....

Solution:
Other than stating that is has more security features, the sources I have checked (including Microsoft Pre-Sales)with have no definitive answer.  It's fairly new, and we are waiting for the finer details on what the additions are.

You may try to check some of the extreme computer geeks sites on the internet, (btw, the geeks will inherit the earth)  like Tom's Hardware guide, or CNet.
