But this is good news for you. We ship Quickbooks Pro instead at the same price, which includes a $100 rebate for previous users in the box. The rebate forms are also available on Intuits site. So its a great deal overall, unless you specifically want Quickbooks basic.

As an addendum. The rebate offer will no longer be available in the 2006 versions. Intuits pulling it. They seem to have dominated enough of the market to have decided not to give their customers the benefit of their astronomical margins!
