In our office we truly follow the three Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Your order is packaged entirely of 100% recycled (or re-used) cardboard except our white FedEx Express boxes which are made of 30% post-consumer content.

We reuse and reship out almost all of our incoming boxes, packaging and filler materials we receive.

We only purchase filler packaging material made from 100% biodegradable materials like our green plastic bubble-rap and rice starch peanuts. The white peanuts we buy and use are safe for the environment and disintegrate almost immediately when exposed to water leaving a very small carbon footprint.

We use Green bubble wrap, which is created entirely of cornstarch. Our bubble wrap meets the EN13432 European standard for compostable and biodegradable plastics, which requires products reach 90% degradation within 90 days. There is no need to use any petroleum based non-biodegradable plastics today in any form.

Our entire 16,000 square foot building and shipping facility will be entirely off the electrical grid by 2012 through the use of Solar Panels on the roof of our office in sunny Marina del Rey, California.
